Beatles Fans: Bid On Exclusive 'Abbey Road' Listening Session & Studio Tour
Beatlemania is alive and well, and now you can walk down Abbey Road in the footsteps of the Fab Four thanks to a new auction from CharityBuzz and MusiCares. Winning bidder will receive two passes to the Beatles' Abbey Road Listening session on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Abbey Road Studios in London, U.K. The package also includes a guided tour for two of the iconic Abbey Road Studios the same day plus your own copy of the Abbey Road Super Deluxe box set, completing the Abbey Road dream. Bid now!
The listening session on Sept. 26 coincides with the 50th anniversary of Abbey Road's release date back in 1969. Abbey Road was not The Beatles’ final album, as Let It Be followed in 1970, but it was the last one John, Paul, George, and Ringo recorded together as a band.
Five decades later, the album’s 17 tracks are newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and mix engineer Sam Okell in stereo, high res stereo, 5.1 surround, and Dolby Atmos, accompanied by 23 session recordings and demos, most of which are previously unreleased.
The new box set is available for pre-order now, and will be available everywhere on Sept. 27, but you’ll get a preview of this beloved album in the location where it was all originally recorded.
Bid today and proceeds from this experience package will provide essential support for MusiCares, which ensures music people have a place to turn in times of financial, medical and personal need. For more information and to place your bid, visit the CharityBuzz website.
