GRAMMY Camp alum and former country group Maybe April member, Kristen Castro has released the video for her "Surrender" single, the follow-up to "Bloom."

The dreamy video full of pink hues features Castro singing and playing the guitar as a storyline of a post-breakup unfolds. Castro wanted to convey the feeling of coming to terms with the end of a relationship.

“I wanted the video to be about someone carrying memories to a waterfall trying to make sense of a heartbreak, but at the end they surrender to letting go and letting the water take it where it will," she said in a statement. "The pink hue throughout the video gives a visual feel of love and the abstract performance shots are meant for the listener to focus on the story and song.”

The single is a part of new music the singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has released since leaving Maybe April. The GRAMMY Camp alum added that she could not have gotten to where is today without her GRAMMY experience.

“[The camp has] given me the confidence to never stop believing in myself or what my music has to say," she said. "From playing guitar with Keith Urban, to a backstage /songwriting experience with Brandi Carlile, to being around young emerging artists who were so talented at camp and who are now playing in bands with huge artists across the country—it’s that kind of stuff that has grounded me as an artist, kept me being a dreamer and made me grateful to the people that have helped shaped me along the way.”

Metallica are among the latest musicians to donate to Australia's brush fire relief.

The GRAMMY-winning rock band, with their All Within My Hands foundation, pledged $750,000 AUD (Australian dollars) to wildlife relief in New South Wales and Victoria. New South Wales, located on Australia's southeast coast, is one of the areas most affected by the country's massive fires this season.

"We are totally overwhelmed by the news of the wildfires sweeping through millions of acres across Australia, with major impact in New South Wales and Victoria," the band said in a statement. "The resulting destruction and devastating effects on all residents, animals, the environment and the incredible land in Australia is truly heartbreaking."

The money will go to NSW Rural Fire Service and to the Country Fire Authority in Victoria. The "Enter Sandman" band also urged their fans to give what they can.

"Please join us and do whatever you can to assist as we, along with our foundation All Within My Hands, are pledging A$750,000," the statement said.

Flume, Pink, Keith Urban and Kacey Musgraves are among other music artists that have donated money to relief.

Roughly 24 people and over 480 million animals have died this fire season in Australia so far. Reports note that fires began to intensify in some areas back in September. More than 14.7 million acres have been burned thus far, as the fires continue.

As Australia faces one of its most devasting wildfire seasons, artists from the country and beyond are doing what they can to aid in the relief.

Flume, the electronic musician, producer and DJ from Sydney nominated for a 2020 GRAMMY, has donated $100,000 to WIRES Wildfire Rescue to help surviving wildlife and those injured. He made the announcement via Instagram with an image of a kangaroo amid burnt down trees. The caption reads: "So so so sad. It's breaking my heart. My home is on fire."

CBS reports that "the combination of drought, record-breaking heat and strong winds have contributed to the devastating proportions of this year's fires." Fire season began to intensify early September in places like New South Wales.

Roughly 480 million animals have died, CNN reports. More than 14.7 million acres have been burned.

Keith Urban, who is New Zealand-Australian, donated $500,000 along with his wife actress Nicole Kidman to Rural Fire Services. "Our family’s support, thoughts, and prayers are with everyone affected by the fires all over Australia. We are donating $500,000 to the Rural Fire Services who are all doing and giving so much right now," he tweeted.

Tame Impala's Kevin Parker from Perth urged fans to donate, according to Stereogum. "In case you haven’t heard there are a number of heartbreakingly large bushfires burning out of control in Australia at the moment,” he wrote on Instagram. “Hundreds of millions of animals have died and thousands of people have lost their homes and the outlook is grim. If you’d like to donate to any of the services that are working tirelessly … your contribution even if small would be a massive help."

Pink donated $500,000 and shared information with fans on where to donate. Kacey Musgraves and Selena Gomez are also among the music artists who have donated or brought awareness to the fires.

Out of the roughly 2,700 firefighters working to stop fires as of Sunday, three have been killed. In this year's fire season, 24 people have died. Firefighters are working to contain 69 fires as of Monday.
