Catchy is a state of mind, and for New York native MAX, it seems to run through his blood. In the latest edition of the Recording Academy's Press Play At Home, MAX proves his pop prowess with a stripped-down version of his hit "Love Me Less."

Born and raised in Hell's Kitchen, MAX got his start in entertainment on Broadway starring alongside fellow future star Ariana Grande in the show "13."

"Love You Less" was co-written by Roget chahayed, imad-Roy El-Amine, Max Schneider, Nolan Sipe and Mikael Temrowski after MAX's ex-girlfriend threatened to get his British wife deported. It took over a year to complete to be included on MAX's sophomore album Colour Vision, set to be released Sept. 18.

In the video, you'll learn a lot more about "Love You Less," including that it was the first song MAX released after he could not speak for four months following vocal cord surgery, and it gave MAX his second song to go gold after breakout hit "Lights Down Low."

The song earned some famous co-signs from both Jungkook and SUGA of BTS, sharing it on their playlists.

For further viewing, and to get to know MAX even better, check out the song's official music video, featuring his actual parents, wife Emily and one of his best friends.

Country singer/songwriter Brett Eldredge released his fifth studio albium, Sunday Drive, last month. Inspired by the '70s music of Billy Joel, Elton John and Bob Dylan, the album's rootsy feel culminates with a nostalgic ode to the star's hometown with "Paris Illinois."

Brett Eldredge Sings "Paris Illinois" | Press Play

Take a trip back home with Eldredge In the latest episode of Press Play At Home, where he croons from the empty gymnasium bleachers and takes us through some of his most vivid childhood memories in this simple, soulful song.

"Paris Illinois" was co-written by Eldredge, Ian Fitchuk and Daniel Tashian. The trio appeared recently as part of the GRAMMY Museum's July lineup of digital content, discussing the making of Sunday Drive, which Fitchuck and Tashian co-produced.

Fittingly (and impressively), Eldredge recorded the vocal for "Paris Illinois" in just one take. The song recounts vivid, detailed imagery and memories of his childhood hometown, where as a kid the future country singer would perform big-band music with CD backing tracks in small cafés.

Enjoy Eldredge's emotional, stripped-down performance above and stay tuned for more exclusive original performances from Press Play right here on GRAMMY.com.

Today, more than usual, music can trasport us from the solitude of our homes to anywhere around the world. With "Hoy," prolific Peruvian singer/songwriter Gian Marco does exactly that, bringing along on his journey to Peru from the comfort of his (and our) own home in the latest edition of GRAMMY.com's Press Play At Home.

Marco count his eclectic influences as everyone from the the Beatles, Billy Joel, Journey, Sting and Charly García to Mozart. It should come as little surprise Marco comes from very musical parents, as his mother María Regina Alcóver Ureta is a successful actress and singer and his late father Javier Óscar Florencio Zignago Viñas aka Joe Danova, was a composer and singer.

With big dreams in his heart, Marco moved to the U.S. and his music career took off. GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY-winning singer Gloria Estefan made a hit out of "Hoy" when she recorded it for her 2003 album, Unwrapped. The song climbed all the way to the top of the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks charts and showed up on several other charts across Latin America.

Marco released his own version of "Hoy" on his 2008 album, Desde Adentro. Throughout his incredible career, he's penned hits for artists such as Alejandro Fernández, Marc Anthony, Carlos Rivera, Jon Secada, Mandy Moore and more.

In 2020, the Peruvian musical giant is celebrating his 30th anniversary of making music, and it's clear he has plenty more music in him to share. So sit back and make the most of today by enjoying "Hoy" from Press Play At Home.
