Aptly titled, The Unheavenly Skye Tour pulls its title partially from the title Coheed's latest album, The Unheavenly Creatures, released just last year. The band is expected to pull heavily from its tracklist for this run of shows.

The other part of the tour name references Mastodon's fourth album, Crack The Skye, which celebrates its 10th anniversary on March 24. To celebrate, the band will perform the album in its entirety on the tour. Neurosis' Scott Kelly, who appears on the album's title track as a guest vocalist, has been known to join the band on stage and recently performed six blistering songs with Mastodon, including "Crack The Skye," at a dive bar in London for Kerrang!

After four nominations, Mastodon earned their first GRAMMY win at the 60th GRAMMY Awards for Best Metal Performance for "Sultan's Curse."

Tickets for the tour are available via Ticketmaster.

System Of A Down's gradual return continues, as the band has announced a string of 2020 European tour dates. The run will kickoff June 3 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and touch down in 12 countries in all, wrapping at VOA Heavy Rock Festival in Lisbon, Portugal one month later.

We’re happy to announce that headline dates have been added to our 2020 European Tour. General on-sale begins Fri., 4th October @ 10am local, which will include VIP ticket packages with proceeds going the non-profit charity, @MyStepFund. The new European trek comes just after the GRAMMY-winning band revealed they will make several major festival appearances overseas, including Download Festival in England and Nova Rock Festival in Austria.

In May of this year, the band reunited for Sonic Temple in Colombus, Ohio, and while it's been 14 years since their most recent album, the double-LP Mesmerize/Hypnotize, the band has reportedly been working on new music off and on since 2011.

SOAD earned their first GRAMMY nomination in 2001 for "Chop Suey!" for Best Metal Performance. Four years later, they took home their first GRAMMY win for "B.Y.O.B." from Mezmerize for Best Hard Rock Performance. Their most recent nomination came one year later for Best Hard Rock Performance for "Lonely Day" from Hypnotize.

Tickets for the newly announced shows go on-sale Friday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. local time. For more info visit the band's website.

Lucy Dacus is probably coming to a town near you. The celebrated singer/songwriter announced a sprawling North American tour this fall following July appearances at the iconic Newport Folk Festival, Philadelphia's XPoNential Festival, a taping of Austin City Limits TV with Julien Baker (followed by a show together the following night) and a performance Sept. 5 at Raleigh, N.C.'s Hopscotch Festival.

The run of headlining dates kicks off Sept. 10 in Lancaster, Pa., and treks across the U.S. and Canada for nearly 30 dates, wrapping up Nov. 6 in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Putting any of notion of a sophomore slump to bed with her 2018 album Historian, Dacus took on the year 2019 with an ambitions project of the same name. 2019 is Dacus' series of singles themed and released around various holidays. So far, she's dropped a version of "La Vie en Rose" for Valentine's Day and "My Mother & I" for Mother's Day, with songs still on the way for Independence Day, Halloween, Christmas, New Year's and, of course, Bruce Springsteen's birthday (Sept. 23). Dacus reportedly plans to release the collection on a physical EP later this year.

For a full list of tour dates and information on tickets, which go on-sale Friday, May 31, visit Dacus' website.
