Today Milwaukee's Summerfest announced a special concert on July 7 to close out their 11-day music festival extravaganza, headlined by three hip-hop heavy-weights; GRAMMY winner Lil Wayne and GRAMMY nominees Snoop Dogg and ScHoolboy Q.

Wayne will join fellow longtime rap icon Snoop along with steadily rising West Coast hip-hop champ ScHoolboy for what the fest shares is their only joint show domestically this year. The concert will take place at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater, which serves as the main stage for the fest.

This year, Snoop celebrates the 25th anniversary of his 1993 debut album, Doggystyle. Its hit single "Gin And Juice" earned the SoCal icon his second GRAMMY nod and nearly-instant rap star status, following his hot features on Dr. Dre's 1992 debut album, The Chronic.

Last September, Wayne finally released his long-delayed, highly anticipated Tha Carter V. ScHoolboy, following a feature on the GRAMMY-nominated Black Panther: The Album last year, marked his first solo release since 2016 this month, with "Numb Numb Juice." The trio will have plenty of hot tracks ready to get the summer vibes going and to close out Summerfest.

Summerfest, whose entire lineup has yet to be announced, will bring over 800 artists to 12 stages across the festival grounds which surround the amphitheater, from June 26–30 and July 2–7. Tickets for each headline concert are purchased individually and include access to the entire festival grounds and other shows for that day.

Other previously announced headline concerts include GRAMMY nominee Jennifer Lopez, stopping by on July 3 as part of her It's My Party Tour, and GRAMMY winners Ozzy Osbourne and Megadeth on July 4 for their No More Tours 2 jaunt.

GRAMMY-winning country icon Willie Nelson will also be bringing his Outlaw Music Festival back to the event, along with Phil Lesh, GRAMMY nominees the Avett Brothers, GRAMMY winner Alison Krauss and more for the July 27th date of their tour.

Tickets for Wayne, Snoop and ScHoolboy's show go on sale next Friday, April 12, with a Summerfest pre-sale happening the day prior; more info here.

Today, Afro Nation Puerto Rico announced the first wave of its (stacked!) inaugural lineup, featuring Beenie Man, Burna Boy, Chronixx, Davido, 2Baba and Patoranking as headliners.

Following this summer's sold-out Afro Nation Portugal, the 2nd edition of the fest will make its North American debut beachside in San Juan, Puerto Rico, March 18–21, 2020.

The four-day music festival features artists from around the world making waves on a global scale, highlighting the biggest players in Afro-fusion, reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, soca and other black-led musical movements. As the press release states, the new event was "founded on good vibes and #BlackExcellence."

In addition to GRAMMY-winning King Of dancehall Beenie Man, other Jamaican acts on the first-round lineup include 27-year-old GRAMMY-nominated reggae prince Chronixx, reggae/dancehall singer Kranium and rising dancehall queen Shenseea.

One of Trinidad's First Ladies of Soca, Patrice Roberts, will also perform, as well as rapper Afro B, a leading force in U.K.'s rising Afrowave sound. Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy rounds out Afro Nation Puerto Rico's initial lineup, with "loads more [artists] TBA."

On Oct. 21, Firefly Music Festival announced the dates for its ninth annual event, along with the news that it will return to a four-day event, after throwing a three-day fest this past June. The woodsy camping fest will return to its home at the Woodlands in Dover, Del., on June 18–20, 2020, and will be offering presale tickets to past attendees tomorrow, Oct. 23.

Firefly Music Festival will be taking place over 4 amazing days - June 18-21, 2020.

"After wrapping a successful event in 2019 we evaluated fan feedback and saw the overwhelming request for the return of Thursday," Firefly Marketing Director Kyla Lombardo told the Delaware State News. "We just couldn't resist the opportunity for more music."

The newspaper reports that while last year's event had lasted for three days, the prior five years had lasted for four days.

The lineup has yet to be announced, but last year, the 2019 lineup was revealed on Dec. 11. The fest always brings in a diverse lineup; last year's topline acts included Panic! At The Disco, Tyler, The Creator, Zedd, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Kygo, Death Cab For Cutie, Vampire Weekend and DJ Snake.

A 24-hour "loyalty presale" is taking place tomorrow, beginning Oct. 23 at 12 p.m. ET, for past attendees. The paper reports access codes went out via email on Monday, and the fest website notes you can email them at loyalty@fireflyfestival.com if you didn't get it and should have.
