GRAMMY Rewind: Watch A Stunned Alejandro Sanz Win The Latin GRAMMY For Best Record Of The Year For 'Tu No Tienes Alma' In 2005
Few people can boast of a hot streak quite as scorching as Alejandro Sanz, who won five of the first six Latin GRAMMYs for Record Of The Year.
The Spanish balladeer had already cemented his legendary career by the ceremony's launch in 2000, and would go on to win 16 more Latin GRAMMYs and four GRAMMYs — but his run of gold statues at the turn of the century remains a highlight of Latin GRAMMYs history.
Even Sanz seems amazed at his own run of good fortune, holding his face in his palms before heading to the stage to accept the Latin GRAMMY for Record Of The Year for "Tu No Tienes Alma" in 2005.

"I'm very ashamed to collect this award because all those that were nominated and the many who aren't nominated deserve it more than I do," Sanz says in near disbelief. "But I want to dedicate it precisely to them."
