Jun 4, 2018 - 2:05 pm

This coming fall, Florida Georgia Line are leaving behind their Southern roots in favor of some West Coast action. Specifically, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard have announced their first-ever Las Vegas residency, kicking off an exclusive five-night engagement Dec. 1 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. And the "Meant To Be" country are doubling down with yodeling sensation Mason Ramsey, who will serve as opening act.

"From writing on the back of tailgates, to selling out our first stadium tour last summer, and now bringing good music and good vibes to the Strip, BK and I just feel so blessed," Hubbard told E! Online.

"We keep reaching our wildest dreams!" added Brian Kelley. "Last year I got to direct my first video ['Smooth'] here [in Vegas], and the city's energy is just out of this world. We're all in for this one.”

See y'all in VEGAS for an exclusive engagement Dec. 1, 5, 7, 8 & 11 at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood & we’re bringin Mason Ramsey w/ us! Fan Club presale starts Tues at 10am PT & Citi Presale starts Wed at 10am PT. The public sale is Sat at 10am. Tickets on our website pic.twitter.com/32fswesWFZ

— Florida Georgia Line (@FLAGALine) June 4, 2018

The announcement follows the release of two new Florida Georgia Line songs last week "Simple" and "Colorado," which Kelley described as "the next chapter of FGL" last week. The duo's other recent chapter, "Meant To Be" with Bebe Rexha, has been a thrilling read for fans. The song climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and its video is approaching half a billion views on YouTube.

Tickets for Florida Georgia Line Live From Las Vegas will go on sale to the public starting June 9 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster, with pre-sales starting June 5.

This summer is shaping up to be the creative country duo's hottest yet with a highly anticipated album on the way

Jul 6, 2018 - 4:16 pm

On July 5 country duo Florida Georgia Line released the third preview of their upcoming album with the lyric video for "Talk You Out Of It."

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are both singer/songwriters who began music in Southern church, where Hubbard also began Christian hip-hop in his teens. "Talk You Out Of It" has hints of R&B and seductive lyrics yearning to get in a Luther Vandross kind of mood, with the lines, "Now you're lookin' like a line from a Vandross song/ I'm looking at that fine little dress you got on/ Don't get me wrong girl I love it/ Now I just want to talk you out of it."

Florida Georgia Line have been everywhere lately, with their Bebe Rexha collaboration "Meant To Be" reaching No. 2 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart dated July 7, FGL Fest coming in Sept. and a recently announced one-week Dec. residency in Las Vegas. The other album-preview singles have been "Colorado" and "Simple," with their lyric video for "Simple," released May 31, approaching 10 million views and reaching No. 45 on that same July 7 Hot 100.

Meanwhile the journeymen are on tour across the U.S. offering plenty of chances to catch them before summer is over. As the pair continue to earn more new fans all the time, the formula for their success remains, well, simple.

"Stick to what you believe in and stay true to that and it'll eventually work out some way, in some form or fashion," Hubbard told us in a 2014 interview. That "form or fashion" is looking pretty great as we wait for details about their upcoming album.

"We’re taking Sin City by storm with our Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas Residency," the band said of their 18-show announcement. Live Nation has said the residency is the "world's first THX Certified live performance presented in L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound," according to Billboard.

Last fall, the band, whose song "Dream On" was a part of the GRAMMY Hall Of Fame class of 2018, canceled shows due to Steven Tyler's health. The residency is the first set of consecutive performances since Tyler's medical issues.

Pre-sale tickets are on sale Aug. 16. Ticket prices begin just under $70. VIP meet and greet as well as a pre-show Q&As with the band are also available for fans who want a more intimate experience. For more information on purchasing tickets go to the Ticketmaster website.

Blink-182 are inviting you to turn the lights off and carry yourself to Las Vegas starting this May. The GRAMMY nominees have announced Kings of the Weekend, a select residency run at the Palms Casino Resort that will launch May 26–27 and continue on select weekends through November.

"When the Palms asked us to do a residency here in Vegas, we said ‘Absolutely!'" said Mark Hoppus via a statement. "Now, we just have to cast our showgirls, create our set list — a true throwback of Vegas classics with Sinatra, Liberace. Maybe we can even marry someone onstage. … The possibilities in Vegas are endless."

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. So we're staying in Vegas for 16 nights of shows at the @PearlatPalms.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10AMPThttps://t.co/SIvoVhCueM pic.twitter.com/yijV8t4n2L

— blink-182 (@blink182) March 19, 2018

Bassist Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker will be joined by recent addition Matt Skiba (guitars/vocals), who has replaced the departed Tom DeLonge.

The residency promises to feature songs from the trio's entire catalog— from 1995's Chesire Cat to 2016's Best Rock Album-nominated California. The entire listing of residency shows is as follows:

  • May 26–27
  • June 8–9
  • June 15–16, 23–24
  • Oct. 26–27
  • Nov. 2–3, 9–10, 16–17

Ticket presales start on March 20 with tickets going on sale to the general public on March 23.
