GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winner Enrique Iglesias has been named a Changemaker for Children by the Save The Children. Everyone's favorite "Hero" has harnessed the power of his huge global fan base to raise over $353,000 for the charity, to support kids in need around the world, including with literacy and arts programs.

An active supporter of the organization since 2015, he has been recognized for his support, among the 60-plus other Changemakers. Save The Children has honored this group of "people who raise their voices to drive change for children in need" as they celebrate their 100th birthday.

"I have the best fans on the planet," Iglesias said in a press release. "They never cease to amaze me with their incredible compassion and support. I am so proud of what we have accomplished and I am thankful for my partnership with Save the Children. Together, we are making the world a little better for children."

Iglesias encouraged fans to donate to important cause via online contributions, fundraisers and auctions, special merchandise and even meet and greets with the star himself. These efforts raised $353,000 (and counting!), of which $75,000 is earmarked for the org's HEART (Healing and Education Through the Arts) programs in Mexico.

With help from Microsoft, he also donated $200,000 of software for literacy programs for elementary school-age children in El Salvador, Guatemala and Peru.

Earlier this month, on Oct. 4, Iglesias released Greatest Hits, celebrating 24 years of his catchy Spanish and English ballads and pop jams.

For more information on how to make a donation to Save the Children on behalf of Iglesias, and to shop his exclusive charity-supporting merch, visit his website.

On Sept. 24, the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences shared the nominees for the 20th Latin GRAMMY Awards, set to take place in Las Vegas on Nov. 14.

In the day and a half since the big news went live, many of the nominated artists have taken to social media to share their gratitude and excitement for their nods.

GRAMMY- and Latin GRAMMY-winning Spanish singer/songwriter Alejandro Sanz leads as the artist with the most nominations at eight total. His nominations include Album Of The Year and Best Contemporary Pop Album, for his coyly titled 12th studio album, #ELDISCO ("the album"). Two of its singles, "No Tenga Nada" and "Mi Persona Favorita," featuring GRAMMY nominee Camila Cabello, are both nominated for Song and Record Of The Year, marking the first Latin GRAMMY nods for the 22-year-old Cuban-born pop star.

Mi querido amigo @alejandrosanz this is so special because this song is with someone I love and admire so much, and was written with so much love ! Te quiero mucho ale !!!!! When we wrote this song I was inspired by my sister, my little Tofi, who is mi persona favorita!gracias pic.twitter.com/QrwVoDbt8v

— camila (@Camila_Cabello) September 24, 2019

Cabello shared a heartwarming post (switching between Spanish and English) filled with seven exclamation points, while revealing that "Mi Persona Favorita," which she and Sanz co-wrote, was inspired by her younger sister:

"My dear friend Alejandro Sanz, this is so special because this song is with someone I love and admire so much, and was written with so much love! I love you so much, wow!!!!! When we wrote this song I was inspired by my sister, my little Tofi, who is mi persona favorita!"

Sanz, who was honored as the 2017 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year, wrote on Twitter, "Celebrating every nomination for each and everyone of the people that are behind every award. Thank you, always. Congratulations to all of the nominees."

Los Angeles-based mixing engineer Jaycen Joshua also received eight nominations, including for his role as album mixer on three Album Of The Year-nominated LPs—Luis Fonsi's Vida, Rosalía's El Mal Querer and Sebastián Yatra's Fantasía.

Speaking of flamenco-fusion queen Rosalía, the Barcelona-based Latin GRAMMY winner, who took home her first two wins at the 19th Latin GRAMMY Awards, was also one of the top nominees, earning five nods this year. 2018's El Mal Querer not only earned her the major Album Of The Year nod, it is in the running for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album and Best Engineered Album (an award given to the audio engineers). Several of her 2019 singles are nominated for Latin GRAMMYs as well, including "Con Altura," with her co-producer El Guincho and fellow Latin GRAMMY winner J Balvin, for Best Urban Song, and "Aute Couture" for Record Of The Year.

MIL GRACIAS @LatinGRAMMYs y a todos x estas nominaciones!!! VAYA REGALO DE CUMPLE Q ME HABÉIS DADO WAAAAAAAA felicidades mi hermano @el_guincho pic.twitter.com/04nZEhF0xO

— R O S A L Í A (@rosaliavt) September 25, 2019

Celebrating her nominations on her 26th birthday, Rosalía tweeted, "A thousand thanks Latin GRAMMYs and everyone else for these nominations!" She also shouted out El Guincho in the post, which included of a video of the creative powerhouse pair each holding big unicorn balloons.

Another multiple nominee is Mexican alt-Latino singer Ximena Sariñana, who, like the two aforementioned Spanish pop stars, also earned Album Of The Year and Record Of The Year nods, for her album ¿Dónde Bailarán Las Niñas? and "Cobarde," respectively. "I feel very honored to be nominated," she posted to Twitter, shortly after the nominations were announced.

Eternal Colombian musical icon Carlos Vives celebrated his nomination for Best Long Form Music Video for "Déjame Quererte" ("Let Me Love You"). The song and video celebrates the rich beauty of his home country along with a diverse group of fellow Colombian artists: Cholo Valderrama, Cynthia Montano, Elkin Robinson, Kombilesa Mi and Velo De Oza. The multiple GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winner marked the nomination with a thoughtful post. "I never miss the opportunity to continue looking to my country through music and to show the world a more inclusive Colombia. Thank you to the Latin Academy for the nomination and for honoring this."

He also shared his excitement (with three exclamation marks) for another nominee and fellow GRAMMY- and Latin GRAMMY-winning musical vanguard. "Congratulations dear Rubén Blades!!!" Vives wrote along with a retweet of the Panamanian Latin jazz/salsa heavyweight's tweet about his three nominations this year. Blades, whose many Latin GRAMMY wins to date include Album Of The Year in 2017, is up for Album Of The Year again, for his 2019 collaborative project Paraíso Road Gang. For this project, the musician/activist/actor featured artists that share his Panamanian roots, including Horacio Valdés and Kansas City-based alt-rock group Making Movies.

GRAMMY winner Alessia Cara, who is nominated for Record and Song Of The Year for "Querer Mejor," her first release in Spanish, shared a simple yet stoked: "YEAAAHHHHH," complete with three star emojis. She also tagged her duet partner in the song, GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winner Juanes, who retweeted her post.

The longtime Colombian alt-rock artist is also up for a third award for "La Plata," featuring Colombian rapper Lalo Ebratt, and is also up for Record Of The Year. Additionally, Juanes has been named the Latin Recording Academy's 2019 Person Of The Year, which will be celebrated with the special show held annually during Latin GRAMMY Week.

Brazilian tri-lingual (she sings in Portuguese, Spanish and English) pop star Anitta added her joy to the online celebrations, as her fourth studio album, Kisses, earned a nod for Best Urban Music Album. The reggaeton princess wrote, "I'm so so happy to be nominated…for my album "Kisses"! Thank you to the Latin GRAMMYs, thank you to all of my friends who helped me make this project that I love so much"

Arguably one the most exciting parts of the annual Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY nominations is meeting the class of first-time nominees, including the recipients of Best New Artist nods. One of these Latin GRAMMY Best New Artist nominees is rising Venezuelan Latin jazz artist Chipi Chacón. Like Rosalía, he celebrated both his Libra birthday (Sept. 23) and his nomination. The 31-year-old shared a long, heartfelt post on Instagram, writing "What an incredible birthday present. I'm thankful for the Latin GRAMMYs for taking my music into consideration. This nomination is completely for Venezuela. Thanks to all of the incredible musicians and engineers who participated in my album Transparente."

Another Best New Artist nominee, Colombian Elsa Carvajal, shared in that special first-time nom feeling. The Berklee College of Music graduate, who makes dreamy alt-pop as Elsa y Elmar, shared a teary-eyed video reflecting on the nomination. In the post she wrote, "I thought these things were not for me… Thank you for being part of this reminder that the hard work is worth it… Thank you to the academy, Latin GRAMMYs, for considering me worthy of a nomination. Like this, punk as I am."

The Latin Recording Academy has announced the iconic three-time Latin GRAMMY winner/two-time GRAMMY winner Ricky Martin as the co-host of the Biggest Night in Latin music, the 20th Latin GRAMMY Awards.

The show, which celebrates 20 years of excellence in Latin music on Nov. 14 in Las Vegas, will be the first awards show the Latin pop king has ever hosted. Puerto Rican actor/singer Roselyn Sánchez and Spanish actor Paz Vega will take on co-hosting duties with the "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer.

While the 2019 Latin GRAMMYs will mark Sánchez's fourth time hosting the Biggest Night in Latin Music, Vega will also be making her Latin GRAMMY hosting debut.

The 20th anniversary awards show will not only be a big moment for Latin music as a whole, but for Martin himself, who has a long history with the Latin GRAMMYs and performed at the inaugural show. At the first show, the 2000 Latin GRAMMY Awards, he received his first two nominations and, as the Latin Recording Academy themselves put it, "delivered one of the most memorable performances to date" alongside two other legendary artists in the Latin world: Celia Cruz and Gloria Estefan.

"I was just thinking about the first time I walked on to that stage, holding hands with Celia Cruz and Gloria Estefan—and oh my god, it's been 20 years," Martin told Entertainment Weekly remembering back to the moment. "It's been a whirlwind of emotions ever since, but it’s been beautiful. I'm really looking forward to [hosting]."

In 2001, Martin, who earlier this year opened the 61st GRAMMY Awards with a vibrant performance along with J Balvin, Arturo Sandoval, Camila Cabello and Young Thug, took home his first Latin GRAMMY win, for Best Short Form Music Video for the Spanish-language version of "She Bangs." In 2006, his ongoing philanthropic endeavors in his native Puerto Rico and elsewhere earned him the high honor of the Latin Recording Academy's Person of the Year.

Ariana Grande Donates Proceeds From Atlanta Show To Planned Parenthood

Today, Planned Parenthood confirmed that GRAMMY winner Ariana Grande has donated the proceeds from her June 8 concert in Atlanta, around $250,000, to the reproductive health non-profit. The contribution follows several Southern states, including Georgia, passing restrictive anti-abortion bills in May.

This is incredible, @arianagrande — thank you!

We're so grateful for your longstanding commitment to supporting women’s rights & standing with Planned Parenthood to defend access to sexual and reproductive health care. #IStandWithPP #StopTheBans https://t.co/zFkBVONNK9

— Planned Parenthood (@PPFA) June 12, 2019

"Ariana Grande's generous donation comes at a critical time—in Georgia and across the country, anti-women's health politicians are trying to ban all safe, legal abortion," Dr. Leana Wen, President of Planned Parenthood, said in a statement to People, who broke the news.

Wen, who is a medical doctor and the former Baltimore City Health Commissioner, spoke to the critical timing of Grande's donation, at a time when lawmakers are rolling back years of women's rights legislation:

"This is not what the American people want, nor is it something they'll stand for. Thanks to inspiring support like hers, Planned Parenthood can continue to fight back—in the courts, in Congress, in state houses, and in the streets—against these dangerous attacks on people's health and lives. We are so grateful to Ariana for her longstanding commitment to supporting women's rights and standing with Planned Parenthood to defend access to reproductive health care. We won't stop fighting—no matter what."

Ariana Grande Shines At Coachella Alongside *NSYNC, Nicki Minaj, Diddy & Mase

As People and other outlets point out, the donation follows the singer's response to hate speech made outside of the Atlanta concert. Ari fans tweeted a video of a protester outside of the venue making homophobic, sexist and racist comments over a P.A. system to the young women. Grande commented on the post, writing: "man... saddened but not surprised by this one bit. I'm so sorry any of my fans had to encounter this. we will do our best to ensure this doesn't happen again. proud of u all for not fighting / engaging violently. never worth it. wishing him peace & a healed heart cause girl yikes."

The Atlanta show was one of the stops on the pop star's Sweetener World Tour, which continues across North America until mid-July, after which she'll headline Lollapalooza on Aug. 4, then take the tour across the pond to London on Aug. 17 for its European leg.

GRAMMY-nominated pop powerhouse and dancer extraordinaire Jennifer Lopez fittingly wants to celebrate her upcoming 50th birthday, July 24, with music, dancing and all her fans. The Bronx-born star has announced a 25-date tour, her first trek in seven years, kicking off on June 7 in Los Angeles.

https://twitter.com/JLo/status/1109145719347265537

It’s my party!!!! Let’s sing and dance the night away 💃🏻 !! I can’t wait to celebrate my birthday with all of you on tour this summer 🎂 #JLOItsMyParty🎈For more info: https://t.co/bLnW7swbIS pic.twitter.com/sg6LBXFcgF

The It's My Party tour will then bring her killer moves and infectious energy to other huge venues across North America, including the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. on June 13, the American Airlines Center in Dallas and the United Center in Chicago on June 29. She will make two stops in Canada, in Toronto on July 7 and Montreal on July 10, followed by a July 12 show at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York. She will hold the final two concerts of the tour in Florida, in Orlando on July 23 and closing out in Miami on July 25.

In the video accompanying her social media announcement, Lopez shared her vision for the tour: "I know I'm going to give them a good show, I know I'm going to make sure that the music feels great, and the flow is right and the set is right. That's what I do…It's a party, baby!"

A press release emphasized that nothing will be held back for J. Lo's birthday extravaganza. The shows will be "a nonstop party mix of Jennifer's new and classic anthems, show-stopping choreography and dancers, dazzling wardrobe, jawdropping technology and set design, and all of the glamour and wow-factor fans have come to expect of Jenny from the Block," it said.

In addition to the excitement of celebrating J. Lo's birthday with the icon herself—fans are already freaking out on Twitter—the tour itself is a big deal. It is her first one since her first major solo tour, the Dance Again World Tour in 2012. Prior to that, she had a joint tour with Marc Anthony in 2007. Lopez' most recent concerts were during her Las Vegas residency, dubbed All I Have, from January 2016– September 2018, during which she performed 120 shows.

The multifaceted pop star's last LP was her eighth studio album, 2014's A.K.A. She released several singles last year, including the Spanish language "Te Guste" with rising Latin trap star Bad Bunny in November and the bilingual "Dinero" featuring DJ Khaled and Cardi B last May. She has teased a new track, "Medicine," featuring rapper French Montana, due out April 5.

Tour tickets go on sale Fri., March 29 at 10:00 am local time, with presales beginning March 26; more info here.
