GRAMMY winners Childish Gambino,  Paul McCartney and Metallica lead the headliner lineup for this fall's Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker Park, which will take place over the weekends of Oct. 5–7 and 12–14.

Announced on May 1, this year's lineup also features 60th GRAMMY Awards winners The National and Residente, who shares the lead on the list of the top Latin GRAMMY Award winners of all time.

The Recording Academy was on-site for ACL 2017  — based on last year, festivalgoers this fall are sure to be grateful for the incredible musical selection. Other GRAMMY winners set to perform at the 2018 installment are David Byrne, Justice and St. Vincent. Recently, St. Vincent gave the Crystals' classic "Then He Kissed Me" a same-sex twist for the LGBTQ-affirmative album Universal Love — Wedding Songs Reimagined, in the form of "And Then She Kissed Me."

The incredibly stacked lineup definitely points to quite the musical retreat, featuring over 50 performers reveals an equally exciting mix of artists and genres, sure to keep festival goers dancing all three days. It includes big names in dance music such as GRAMMY winner Diplo, GRAMMY nominees Mura Masa and Sofi Tukker, plus GRiZ, Alison Wonderland, Hippie Sabotage and Gorgon City. There are also notable names of the pop/indie-rock arena, including GRAMMY nominee Hozier, as well as The 1975, Walk The Moon and Jimmy Eat World.

There are also plenty of talented rising artists performing that you may very well likely already be a big fan of, such as Bebe Rexha, Bishop Briggs, Bazzi and Pale Waves. Hangout Fest 2019 seems like just the event to see your favorite artists as well as find your new favorite.

One of the joys of a curated festival like Glastonbury is experiencing new acts, from the established to those just on the radar. Two accomplished artists who stand out are the band Interpol and British rapper Stefflon Don. Others include Anne-Marie, Billie Eilish, Michael Kiwanuka, Lizzo, Pale Waves, Cat Power, Latin GRAMMY winner Rosalía, Sharon Van Etten, Kurt Vile & The Violators, and Kamasi Washington.

Although Glastonbury 2019 has already sold out, the festival encourages those wanting to attend to register at their website for an April ticket resale.
