There is no doubt that the world dearly misses the late rapper Mac Miller. Many artists across genres have paid tribute to him since his untimely passing at age 26 on Sept. 7. The tributes will continue with a star-studded concert set to celebrate his life, featuring many of artists who have shown him love, including Anderson .Paak, Chance the Rapper, Miguel and many more. The special show will be held in Los Angeles at the Greek Theater on Oct. 31, Miller's family has announced.

The stellar lineup features an impressive variety of artists who loved the young rapper, including Anderson .Paak, Miguel, Earl Sweatshirt, Schoolboy Q, Thundercat, Vince Staples, Action Bronson and Ty Dolla Sign, all of whom collaborated with him at some point. Others who will perform in his honor include Chance the Rapper, who went from being a big fan to close friend of Miller's—Miller brought him on tour when he was first starting out. Additionally, John Mayer, SZA, Travis Scott, Domo Genesis of Odd Future, Dylan Reynolds, J.I.D and Njomza are on the bill. The proceeds will benefit the newly established Mac Miller Circles Foundation, created by the rapper's brother in his memory to bring the arts to underserved youth. Miller's mother, Karen Myers, who helped organize the concert, reflected on the positivity shining through for the upcoming show and the new foundation established in his name.

"The support we've experienced is evident in this amazing lineup and is a testament to Malcolm's incredible life. His father, brother and I are beyond thankful to everyone who is working to make this concert happen along with every fan and every friend for continuing to support Malcolm and his vision," Myers shared in a recent statement. "He was a caring, loving human with a smile that could light up the sky and a soul that was out to make the world a kinder place and the MMCF will continue to do just that."

As a silver-lining to the dark spot his death left, the dedications, shout-outs and love musicians and fans alike have shown for him since then has been truly heartwarming, and shows the positive impact the young rapper had on so many lives. His legacy will live on in his music and within the people he positively impacted who share that light. Staples posted a shout-out to him on the day of his passing, quoting one of Miller's verses on a song they collaborated on, "Heaven." "'I must've died and went to heaven...currently in shock it'll hit me in a second. What's your question? You need a blessing right? Or you just wondering what heavens like.' I’ll see you soon. Thank you for everything...for all of this. I love you," he shared on Instagram.

As the movie Black Panther and Kendrick Lamar's curated Black Panther: The Album continue to make inroads, more tracks have hit the Billboard Hot 100, while Black Panther: The Album hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for the week ending Feb. 15.

In the most recent tally on Feb. 24, two songs were on the Hot 100 from the previous week — "Pray For Me," combining Lamar with The Weeknd, at No. 11, while "King's Dead" moved from No. 69 up to No. 38, blending Lamar with James Blake, Future and Jay Rock.

Lamar and SZA's "All The Stars" entered the Hot 100 at position No. 9. Its official video was posted on YouTube Feb. 6 and is now up to more than 27 million views. Other tracks making their first appearance include "X" at No. 49 by 2 Chainz, Saudi and Schoolboy Q. This is Saudi's personal debut on the Hot 100.

One of the love songs featured on our recent Valentine's Day playlist, "The Ways" by Khalid and Swae Lee enters at No. 63. SOB X RBE, who just announced they'd be touring with Post Malone, debut on the chart at No. 67 with their powerful "Paramedic!"

The two other Black Panther Hot 100 newcomer tracks are the catchy "Big Shot" at No. 71, with Lamar and Travis Scott, trailed by the lyrical powerhouse "Black Panther" rap of Lamar's at No. 91.

Stay tuned to see what other cultural products of Wakanda explore the Billboard charts on their own.

On Jan. 31 Kendrick Lamar posted the tracklist for the Black Panther soundtrack's accompanying music album, and anticipation has been building musically as well as for the movie itself. On Feb. 6 he posted the "All The Stars" official music video on YouTube, with SZA featured. Watch it and you'll be seeing stars in a different way.

The video's taste of the imaginary kingdom of Wakanda and its sensational style will refresh your mind with its beauty and striking visions, including actual black panthers.

The full soundtrack drops this Friday, Feb. 9 and for an impatient week before the movie goes wide on Feb. 16, fans will enjoy the Kendrick Lamar "Black Panther" theme song, his "Big Shot" collaboration with Travis Scott, his "Pray For Me" collabo with The Weeknd, and "Kings Dead" with Jay Rick, Future and James Blake. Other noteworthy contributing artists include 2 Chainz, Khalid, Anderson .Paak, and Schoolboy Q, making this one of the most highly anticipated soundtracks in recent memory.

Gates for the special show open at 11 am tomorrow; TDE asks that attendees bring an unwrapped gift for free admission and notes that "any and all donations" will be accepted to share with those in need in the local community.

"The annual event is embedded into the ethos of the L.A. label and extremely important to TDE as it focuses on giving back to the same community and neighborhood that gave TDE CEO Anthony 'Top Dawg' Tiffith and many others in the TDE family their start," the press release notes.

Nickerson Gardens is a large, long-standing affordable housing community in Watts, a neighborhood that has historically been on the frontlines of racist policies, heavy policing, gang violence and income inequality. In addition to Tiffith, fellow TDE leader Punch, as well as Jay Rock, grew up in Nickerson Gardens.

Day two of the event focuses on bringing as many people as possible in Nickerson Gardens with holiday cheer and hope.

"The annual Community Day provides the Nickerson Gardens community with things that all children and families should have around the holidays, such as gifts, clothing and food. Above all else, the annual event provides the community with hope and real-life examples in the artists and people who make up the TDE family that no matter where you come from, you can do something positive and put yourself in the position to give back to your community," the press release continues.

"TDE encourages everyone who attends the event to respect the neighborhood and residents and work toward continuing to foster community by volunteering/getting involved and just having a good time when you show up."

The concert and toy drive will happen concurrently on Dec. 18, with gates opening at 11:00 am. Exact start time or lineup (although TDE confirmed all of their artists will perform) details have not been shared yet; you'll have to show up with a donation and see for yourself. The Local Community Day follows on Thurs., Dec. 19 and will take place from 10:00 am–6:00 pm. Both events will take place at William Nickerson Recreation Center, 1590 E 114th St, Los Angeles, Calif. 90059.

GRAMMY-winning producer/singer/songwriter/rapper and all-around hit-maker Pharrell Williams announced his latest endeavor today: Something In The Water Festival.

The brand-new music festival curated by the musical powerhouse will take over his hometown of Virginia Beach from April 26–28 with a super-stacked lineup including fellow GRAMMY winners Missy Elliott, Diplo, Dave Mathews Band and Anderson .Paak with his band The Free Nationals. GRAMMY nominees SZA, Migos, Janelle Monáe, Travis Scott, J Balvin, Pusha T and Jhené Aiko are also slated to perform.

Excited to announce the first ever SOMETHING IN THE WATER Festival, a 3 day music festival and cultural experience happening April 26-28 in Virginia Beach. Tickets will go on sale beginning Friday, March 8 at 12pm ET at https://t.co/hitO9dwpDD. #SITWfest pic.twitter.com/IdQ6ziAwC7

— Something In The Water (@sitw) March 4, 2019

The three-day beachfront event will feature only one stage, meaning you can actually catch all of the performances. Rising acts include Canadian funky hip-hop producer Kaytranada, Spanish flamenco/pop innovator Rosalía and American singer/songwriter Maggie Rogers, who went viral after Pharrell gave a rave review of her "Alaska" demo during a class at NYU in 2016.

The organizer himself will also perform; he's listed on the lineup as "Pharrell & Friends," for what is likely to be a collab-filled set.

Speaking of friends, fellow Virginians repping at the fest will be GRAMMY-nominated rapper DRAM, Dave Matthews Band, who formed in Charlottesville, Va., Elliott, who has collabed with Pharrell on multiple occasions, including their hit "WTF," and Pusha T. Pusha also grew up in Virginia Beach, where he and his brother formed the hip-hop duo Clipse and met and worked with Pharrell, then part of production duo The Neptunes.

At the 61st GRAMMY Awards last month, Pharrell earned his 12th GRAMMY win for Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical. He also won in the same category at the 56th GRAMMY Awards, the same year he earned a win for his work on Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, which took home Album Of The Year.

Tickets for Something In The Water go on sale Fri. March 8; the full lineup and more info can be found on their website.
