Every year, Norah Jones' calling-card single "Don't Know Why" feels more like a modern standard.

The Jesse Harris-written and twice-GRAMMY-winning song still feels fresh on her 2002 debut album, Come Away With Me, and on her recent live album, 'Til We Meet Again, she and her accompanists pull at its groove like taffy.

Ashe Covers Norah Jones' "Don't Know Why"

Now, we have Ashe to write her own page in the story. In the latest episode of ReImagined At Home, Ashe strips down "Don't Know Why" to its essence, singing it straight while accompanying herself on a keyboard.

Brandi Carlile's "The Joke" didn't just net her a GRAMMY in 2018 for Best American Roots Performance & Song. Jake Wesley Rogers is showing how it can be a launchpad for volcanic displays of emotion.

In the below clip, the singer/songwriter—clad in a lacy, floral getup—performs "The Joke" with the gravitas of an old standard before letting his voice fly over a thunderous chord sequence.

Such is the latest episode of ReImagined At Home, where Rogers attacks a relatively recent tune like he's trying to carve out his own notch in the Tower of Song.

Some recording artists are firebrands in the studio, but clam up when a camera is pointed at them. Alaina Castillotakes the opportunity to switch on her effortless charisma and star power.

While performing Ella Mai's "Boo'd Up," a song about a partner who lifts a person up, Castillo elevates the viewer, too. Accompanied by an acoustic guitarist, she digs into every word and bares her soul.

In the latest episode of ReImagined At Home, the bilingual pop star shows herself not only to be a keen writer and narrative-weaver, but also a masterful interpreter. Castillo recently dropped parallel universe, pt. 1; who knows to which dimensions she'll journey from here?

Greyson Chance has weathered a few monsoons in life, from an eating disorder to pandemic doldrums—and that's partly why he goes easier on the backstage indulgences these days.

As the pop singer/songwriter explains in the below video, he's cut down on the backstage candy and champagne—except when there's something to really celebrate after a show.

Singer/songwriter Ant Clemons puts his own spin on Bill Withers' immortal "Ain't No Sunshine" in an exclusive performance for ReImagined At Home

Why has Bill Withers' immortal hit, "Ain't No Sunshine," endured for decades? And, furthermore, why does it seem set to reverberate throughout the ages?

Could it be because it's blues-based? Because it's relatable to anyone with a pulse? Because virtually anyone with an ounce of zeal can believably yowl the song at karaoke?

Maybe it's for all of those reasons and one more: "Ain't No Sunshine" is flexible.

Watch: Ant Clemons Performs "Ain't No Sunshine"

In the latest episode of ReImagined At Home, check out how singer/songwriter Ant Clemons pulls at the song's edges like taffy. With a dose of vocoder and slapback, Clemons recasts the lonesome-lover blues as the lament of a shipwrecked android.

Giving this oft-covered soul classic a whirl, Clemons reminds music lovers exactly why Withers' signature song has staying power far beyond his passing in 2020. It will probably be a standard in 4040, too.
