2018 GRAMMYs Poll: Who Will Win Best Rap Album?
Since the very first GRAMMY for Best Rap Album was handed out for 1995 at the 38th GRAMMY Awards to Naughty By Nature, the Best Rap Album category has been awarded to many of rap's finest, including the Fugees, OutKast, Kanye West, and two of this year's nominees, Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar.
Last year's winner, Chance The Rapper, became the category's first victor to also take home Best New Artist accolades in the same night (though the Fugee's Lauryn Hill would eventually also win the honor the year she released her solo album The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill).
As the popularity of rap music and the influence of hip-hop culture continue to expand in America and across the world, the competition for Best Rap Album also heats up hotter and hotter each year. In addition to Jay-Z and Lamar, Migos, Rapsody, and Tyler, The Creator are all in the running for Best Rap Album for the 60th GRAMMY Awards.
